SSP Scholarship 2023, Pre Metric, Post Metric, Application, Last Date, Status
The Government of Karnataka is issuing Pre Metric, and Post Metric Scholarships for students studying in the Karnataka State. The desirous students who intended to have the SSP Scholarship have to apply within the stipulated date through the official State Scholarship Portal SSP Scholarship Portal.
Students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) communities will be eligible to apply for the State Scholarship. Eligible students can apply online for the SSP Pre Matric scholarship by enrolling on the State Scholarship Portal – ssp.karnataka.gov.in.
SSP Scholarship Portal is an umbrella platform of the Government of Karnataka, putting all the government scholarship schemes under one portal, for easy application, scrutiny, and disbursement of scholarships. The various department scholarships that will be disbursed under the SSP Scholarship Portal are:

SSP Scholarship 2023 Registration
To apply for a Karnataka SSP scholarship, follow the steps given below:
- Log on to the Karnata State Scholarship Portal
- Go to the “Create New Account” available on the Home Page
- Then a separate window with “create account” will be opened
- Then the student has to enter his Aadhar number, and name as per Aadhar to be entered
- The student has to enter the gender
- Enter the Captcha shown on the screen
- Then submit Proceed
- A user ID and password will be generated for you. Do save it.
- Then log in with the given User ID and password
- Fill in the required information, such as the Aadhaar number, School, Age, Birthdate, Religion, etc.
- Upload all the required documents
- Submit the application
- The acknowledgment will be displayed, save it for future reference.
- Print the acknowledgment and Submit it to the School/College.
SSP Scholarship Documents Required for Post Metric Scholarship
- Student Aadhar Number and Name as per Aadhar
- Student Mobile Number
- Student Email ID
- Student SSSLC Registration Number
- Caste and Income Certificates
- In the case of the disabled student UDID Identification number
- District, Taluk, Assembly Constituency, and address of the student residence
- Students College / University Registration NumberE
- E Attestation Number of related documents (if applicable)
- Hostel Address (if applicable)
- Registration in KUTUMBA portal is mandatory, for the students to apply for the scholarship.
- For the students to complete the application submission process in SSP, it is mandatory that the student’s academic information for the year 2022-23 is available in the UUMCS portal or that the concerned University/Board publishes the date to the UNIDATA Server.
- For a student to apply for the hostel in SSP, it is mandatory that the hostel registration information of the student is available either in the state hostel portal (SHP) or in SSP – HMIS Portal.
SSP Scholarship Last Date
- The last Date to apply for the Post Metric Scholarship in Official Portal excluding students studying in PUC, ITI Courses for Social Welfare Department for FY 2022-23 is 30-04-2023
- The Last Date to apply for the Post Metric Scholarship in Official Portal for All Students studying in PUC course is 31-03-2023
- The Last Date to apply for the Post Metric Scholarship in the Official Portal for FY 2022-23 for OBC, CAT 1 & NT/SNT Students who would be eligible for scholarship schemes disbursed by the Department of Backward Classes Welfare and are not studying Medical, AYUSH, Engineering, B.Ed, M.Ed, B.Ped, M.Ped courses is 31-03-2023
SSP Scholarship Status
The SSP Scholarship Status can be verified by logging on to the official SSP Scholarship Portal of the Government of Karnataka. The candidates who have applied for the scholarship for the academic year 2022-23, can check their status of the Pre Matric and Post Metric Scholarship.

- Log on to the official SSP Scholarship Portal
- Enter Student Login
- Enter Password
- Enter the Captcha shown on the screen, then Submit
- Student ID if not known, can be received by entering the Registered Mobile Number
- NSP ID if not known, can be received by entering the Student ID
